Antonia Lofaso

Chef Antonia Lofaso's culinary creations are an invitation to explore the depths of her personal world. Food is what inspires curiosity. This was the result as she moved out of into the Long Island suburbs and entered the rich cultural landscape in Los Angeles. Cavatellis and carnitas coexisting on the same menu is her belief. What remains, however, throughout her menu is an unifying view of the future while achingly recollecting the old. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso, who is inspired with her Italian American heritage. It received a warm welcome. Lofaso's interpretation of classic Italian food is among the most sought-after restaurants in Los Angeles. Lofaso has been described as a neighborhood restaurant that consistently serves dishes that are authentic, tasty and warm. Lofaso apprenticed under culinary legends and absorbed their sophisticated techniques but she never hesitated to take extraordinary risks in order to follow her intuition. After quickly rising up the ranks She transformed a variety of Los Angeles high-profile restaurants while cooperating with famous stars. Lofaso along with Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. With Black Market and the business alliances she created, Lofaso was able to find her home. The collaboration could provide the creative freedom Lofaso wanted. Black Market has no one idea in its head and is the same way. The menu could start with dill potatoes chips Shishito chilies, and go on to an Korean food item called meatballs, and wings. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the basis of these daring flavors. Lofaso measured her professional success based on her ability to both understand and be authentic to her audiences. The memorable performances on Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars showed her personality outside the cooking area. Lofaso's talents are also evident in her recurring roles as a the CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge as well as on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as the ABC's Real O'neals.
